The interactive multimedia installation "ES-CULTURA" invites the viewers to immerse themselves in the paintings through light, movement and music. They can interact with the artworks, noticing how differently color, motion and lighting condition have a unique effect on us. The installation is also audio reactive. It follows the background sounds, in which the light is intensified by the loudness in the room.
The multimedia artist Juliana Gutiérrez does not choose the classic canvas as a painting surface, but aluminum. This material brings the artwork to live., absorbing or reflecting light. Sometimes it seems brighter, sometimes darker. This effect helps to create a blurred world. A surreal world inspired by two places: Colombia, her native country, and Europe, her new home.
